August saw the release of the newest edition of the Halliday Wine Companion. We are please to say that our clients have once again performed exceptionally well, with a total of 55 wines scoring 94 points and above.
We have noted that there has been a 22% increase in wines scoring 96 points and a 7% increase in wines scoring 95 points, as well as an associated decrease in wine scoring 94 points. We are of the belief that this shift in points from 94 to 95, and 95 to 96 is the result of many factors from many sources. Greater attention to detail in the vineyard; state of the art updates to our processing line via the Delta Osycills; constant fine tuning at every part of the process, as well as regular benchmarking, critical self-assessment and market understanding are but a few of factors that have led to this shift.
